  • CIE, IGCSE and IBDP results were declared. We had 100% results. Jwalin Patel Scored A*(Above 90%) in all the subjects in A levels.
  • All our students have got into good universities like University of Michigan-AnnArbor, Russell's design school - Singapore, and many other prestigious universities abroad.
  • Mr. Ajay Nair, our English teacher was chosen for the distinguished Fulbright awards in teaching program sponsored by the US department of state. The program sends highly accomplished primary and secondary teachers from the US, abroad and brings international teachers to the US for a semester long program.
  • Mr. Steve Tomb, English teacher from Johnsburg Central school district, US , has been sent as part of the Fulbright program to AIS. He will be taking IGCSE, IBDP and A level classes.
  • The Government of Singapore will sponsor students. A competitive evaluation test in English, Mathematics and General ability for the students of Grade 9 will be conducted in September by Convent of Holy Infant Jesus and St. Joseph's Institute, Singapore. The successful candidates will be spending four years at Singapore with scholarship and a monthly stipend.
  • In lieu of this the students of Grade IX went on an exchange program to Singapore to visit these schools. They were able to spend valuable time in these schools.
  • The students of IBDP I and II will be visiting Cambodia for the Angkor Thom CAS Project. The students have designed activities for 110 orphaned Cambodian children in the age group of 8 to 18 years.
  • Dr. Tarulata Hirani, our head of the school visited Bangkok, Thailand to attend the annual conference conducted by the International Association For Educational Assessment. The broad purpose of IAEA is to assist educational agencies in the development and appropriate application of educational assessment techniques to improve the quality of education.
  • Ms. Minakshi Balkrishna, our PYP coordinator had recently visited Harvard to attend the "future of learning "workshop conducted by Howard Gardner. The Future of Learning is designed to help understand how societal changes and technological advancements affect the way students learn.
  • Our school hosted the Interschool Volley ball tournament. AIS were the proud winners of the under 14(girls and boys) and under 19 (girls) matches.
  • AIS won the Inter School Bournvita Quiz contest held in Ahmedabad.
  • As an initiative towards contributing to society, Sneh Srushti came into being. Little children of mixed age group from a nearby slum were identified. AIS conducts regular classes to educate them.

We are the first school in Gujarat to be authorized by IBO for its Primary Years Programme. AIS will launch the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in June 2008.
